This week's video shows a TSN special about speedskater Clara Hughes, who has been named the flag-bearer for Canada's Olympic team. She will lead the procession of athletes and officials into B-C Place during the Feb. 12 opening ceremonies.

On Saturday 13 February 2010, the Olympic long track speed skating events will kick off in Richmond with the men’s 5000m. Will Chad Hedrick successfully defend his Olympic title or will Sven Kramer or someone else climb on the highest step of the Olympic podium?

To count down to this day, Speedskating-online is happy to present the Olympic Gallery . Every week we will post a new Olympic video, like Dan Jansen’s gold medal race in Hamar, Italy’s gold medal in the Team Pursuit in Torino, and Johann-Olav Koss’ amazing 13.30.55 during the Winter Games in Lillehammer.

So stay tuned and don’t miss it!
